A picturesque hike with panoramic views of Big Bear Lake. Some steep spots, but it is kid and dog friendly.

Easy Hike with really cool boulders for the kids to climb! It gets busy so go early. You have to cross a busy street after parking. Great views

Very popular hike on the way in/out of Big Bear. Busy with people. I can share other hikes with little people that I prefer.

Zoo
“Big Bear Alpine Zoo is the "go-to" facility for injured and imprinted animals. Their rehabilitation facility offers injured, orphaned and imprinted wildlife a safe haven, either temporarily while they heal, or permanently if they are unable to survive on their own. One of only two alpine zoos in the United States, a majority of the Zoo's residents are from the San Bernardino Mountains. This is walking distance from The Yeti Den.”
