They have the Bakersville Pioneer Village which is a must see for the area. They also sell the best heirloom seeds for almost any vegetable.

Known around the world for their heirloom seeds and monthly events, the Baker Creek location is only ten minutes drive from the property. Your GPS should take you right to the location through some beautiful country back-roads.

40 minutes to Baker's Creek Seed Company and their beautiful Pioneer Village.. a must see for nature lovers and gardeners.. Be sure to check out their amazing vegan restaurant!!

This is an hour drive, but I LOVE it here. They have a restaurant that serves whatever they have grown themselves so there is NO menu. You serve yourself water or fresh iced tea. Leave a donation in the box for your meal. They have frequent festivals in the growing season. Closed on Saturdays (learned that the hard way)!!!
