A wonderful National Trust property just 20 mins away - a must see to soak up the history of this beautiful Abbey ruin.

a beautiful setting for an amazing large abbey ruin. My boys like catching crayfish in the river here. combine with a visit to Ripon town or Brimham rocks. if you continue past the abbey there is an ice cream parlour. if you don't want to pay for Fountains abbey, ( national trust) you can visit studly Royal and just pay for car park.
