They’re the new kid in Nairobi, and they definitely offer the best quality thus far—different from the usual dark roast you find all over Kenya. From sourcing to roasting to brewing, they easily match what you’d find in the US or Europe. They’ve built great relationships with the farmers they source from, so they’re getting some great beans. I recommend the Juliet Kalita—it’s rare to find a well-prepared, light roasted coffee in Nairobi but the Juliet brand is just that. Also, try the waffles. They’re piled high with syrup, ice cream and berries, and are delicious.
