Entrepanes Díaz

More of an upscale experience that blends the sandwich cultures of Barcelona and Madrid. The stylish restaurant was created by Kim Díaz of famous tapas bar Bar Mut just across the street, so the quality is on point. They offer about 15 sandwiches, from stewed oxtail to sardines. I go here when I want to impress a visiting friend. The menu is a bit of an homage to 1950s Madrid. I’m a big fan of the fried squid sandwich, the bocata de calamares, and here they do an excellent version.
