Some kilometres further on you will find the Praia do Almograve, considered one of the most beautiful in the south west of the Alentejo. It has excellent support facilities and good conditions for surfing and bodyboarding. In the town, a walking excursion is signposted: PR1, "Lapa de Pombas” (8.9kms, low level of difficulty, duration approximately 3½ hours). About 5kms south, this beach is very quiet and its rocks form many natural pools for kids. One tip: when you get to the parking lot, take the road to your left and go to the other side of the beach, near the fisherman’s house on the end of the road. This part of the beach is quieter and more enjoyable.

Praia a 400mt do apartamento. Areias finas, com interessantes formações rochosas que realçam a sua formosura. É um areal de considerável dimensão, abrigado, com estacionamento – com salva vidas e bar-restaurante no verão.
