Lower Sandy Bay lovely walks around the beach walkway, or enjoy a swim. Pretty Nutgrove beach around the corner, a little village by the beach.

Best swimming beach locally. About a 10 min walk. Continue on along Nutgrove or walk along Sandy Bay Road. Has a large playground for children.

Long Beach. Just down the hill. Grab a coffee and the paper. Take a walk around the beach. Watch the sail boats tacking back and forth. Weekends the Petanque club play on the special grounds in the park and on Sunday morning check out the veteran cars when the drivers stop for breakfast en route to the Huon. A brisk walk along the sands and return via a short steep hill will have you refreshed for the rest of the day.
