Makris Gialos (Long beach) is a family friendly sandy beach within walking distance from Argostoli. As the name states, it is truly a very long organized beach with no rocks or pebbles, but with crystal clear waters. A wonderful and great beach. Makris Gialos is a very beautiful and popular beach in close distance to Argostoli, the capital of Kefalonia, and the busy tourist resort of Lassi. It has golden sand and many watersports centres around the beach.
