The Park has a boating lake with lakeside cafe, as well as a Bandstand and Gorsedd Circle. The fountain situated behind the cafe is the same one which stands outside Raffles Hotel in Singapore.

From an adventure playground, boating lake, rose garden, cafe and acres to explore Aberdare Park has so much to see and do. At the heart of the park is the beautiful boating lake, which has been painstakingly regenerated. Sail your own toy boats or hire one of the traditional paddle boats that have made a welcome return to the park. Choose from a swan or dragon boat and enjoy the water in style. Take time to feed the geese and birds and don't miss the magnificent Coronation Fountain, which is one of just three in the world - it's identical to the one situated outside the famous Raffles hotel in Singapore. Adventure Playground - Suitable for children of all ages, the huge play area will provide hours of fun. From multi play activity equipment for toddlers to the cable runway for older children, there is plenty to keep them active and happy. Park Cafe - This family run café offers you a warm welcome and is opened from Easter weekend until the end of September. The opening times are 10am until 5.30pm (weather dependant). Located to the side of the lake, this is the perfect place to sit down, relax and take in the scenery whilst sipping a nice cup of tea and/ or having a bite to eat. An indoor seating area is also available for those colder or wet days.

Aberdare Park - Aberdare’s very own public park. As well as a boating lake, tennis courts, and an adventure playground, there are gardens, trees and it is a popular spot for birdwatching. A cafe is open in the summer months, and it is a popular parkrun route on Saturdays.
