La Riua restaurant in Valencia city centre is a good place to eat valencian traditional food, rices and paella. Near the cathedral in a modern building on Calle del Mar. It is centrally located and easy to find. Nice friendly efficient service and good atmosphere, festive decor with lots of brightly coloured plates on the wall. If you want to eat a good paella without leaving Valencia, I recommend this site. It is the only one in the city that serves authentic Valencian paella and fideuàs (instead of rice, noodles and often)
