The Taipei Confucius temple offers an insight in the Chinese culture. It's both a temple and a museum at the same time, depicting the six Confucian arts in a simple and enjoyable way. The exhibitions are interesting for both adults and kids. The one on the writing in particular, does a good job in explaining how the Chinese characters originated and evolved. You can enjoy a "4D" theater with two alternating shows, one about the history of the Taipei Confucius temple itself, one about the philosophy. and For culture enthusiasts.
