This is a little local hangout. Sometimes the word gets out and some out-of-Towners show up ! It’s different every day ! People also look for gems and cold flecks in the river too! Bring a towel a chair. There are no bathrooms.

Scenic covered bridge off rt 112. There is an eddy which is very popular for swimming. I have caught some nice trout here as well. From swiftwater circle take left on rt 112, then right on Porter. There is a parking area just on the other side of bridge.

Also known as "The Big Eddy" this is a popular place for locals and visitors alike. Take a swim or just walk over the bridge admiring yet another stick built structure standing the test of time.

Great local swimming spot. Located 1/2 mile from cabin. Perfect place to spend a warm summer day!
