Excellent Thai food and tasty cocktails. Fried crickets aren't too bad if you wash them down with a tamarind whiskey sour.

One of the first restaurants in Langbaan chef Earl Ninsom’s growing Portland Thai empire, Mee-Sen is a tiny spot in a garage-front space on Mississippi with creative cocktails, a warm, woody Thai decor, and a buzzing happy hour. Its khao soi gai is a classic choice on cold days and can be supplemented with a large selection of noodles and broths.
