Ming is a long-standing staple on Calgary's 17th Ave. For people looking to break w/ the more pub-like atmosphere of some of our other well respected venues in the area, Ming is likely the right place. They have a large selection of Martini's and the best Ginger Beef I've tasted. The staff is always helpful and recently worked to give my wife a Surprise BDay party in the "Red Room". The only down-side I see to Ming these days is that it is not as busy as it once was - give Ming your business and help ensure the venue's continued longevity on 17th Ave. PS - let your friends attempt to pick up the coins on the floor.

This place is a high end martini bar in the heart of 17th Ave, My personal favorite is the Toronto black, coffee, khaluia, and baileys. The staff are friendly.
