Good western food. More famous for its backroom bar called Backstage where the Kuching's local who's who hang out.
Filled to the brim with antiques, this is the middle of a complex of restaurants and bars – each with different names housed in three 1920s shophouses. The Junk has a busy kitchen and the food here is very good. Pasta mains cost RM30 to RM40, pizzas are RM30 to RM45; other mains include Fisherman's Basket (RM40) and rib-eye steak (RM70). Portions are generous.

The atmosphere is unusual because its literally full of junk but in a very decorative way. Love the carbonara spaghetti, salads and cakes. Lovely place in the evening. There is a funky bar at the back. Along the same stretch is Bla Bla Bla which serve local cuisines in style. Another great place with interesting decor and outdoor seating. Must try the local vegetable dish, bidin and mani chai ( cangkok manis )
