The Empire has very good coffee and matcha drinks. They have a nice quiet courtyard space as well as tables upstairs. Food is limited but they do have waffles and chia pudding!

Waffle bar on weekends! All coffee/espresso drinks are made to order, so there's no drip coffee.

BEST coffee in Columbia City. Open early and late. On the weekends, get the waffle bar! Also free wifi and great tunes.

If you want the full-on Seattle coffee experience, this is a good place to get it. The coffee is great, the waffles and paninis are great, the wifi is free.
