This is the oldest diner in Memphis. Great food and service. You can even sit in the booth that Elvis dined in.

Historic restaurant downtown where Elvis ate. They have an Elvis booth and you can get his favorite fried peanut butter and banana sandwich (and add bacon).

7am-3pm Daily // The Arcade has the honor of being Memphis’ oldest cafe. Highlighted by the Food Network and Travel Channel, this is one of the best places to get breakfast and lunch.

One of the oldest restaurants in Memphis! Breakfast or lunch there if you truly want to get a taste and experience of Old Memphis is a must!

Great home cooking. You can even sit in the “Elvis” booth where the king himself used to dine!

Bar
“This South Main-area gastropub offers a sophisticated spin on pub food and an extensive list of inspired cocktails. But unlike some other high-end bars, S.O.B., as it's affectionately called, has more of a welcoming, low-key ambience. Sangria (prepared with whatever fruit is in season) is always on offer, or try something more inventive, such as the Not Your Grandmother's Lemonade (barrel-aged whiskey with homemade lavender-infused lemonade). Balance your booze intake with eats from the daily snack board (fried deviled eggs, seasonal hummus, cheeses, house jam, candied pecans, and crispy flatbread).”

“Museum at the site of the Lorraine Motel where Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. was killed in 1968. Museum traces the Civil Rights Movement. You can see the balcony where Dr. King was shot and the room where James Earl Ray fired the shot.”
