The battlefield/park is about a two hour drive from Oxford but worth a visit if you are looking to use up some time before a late football game. Some of the casualties from this encounter were treated at the Lyceum on campus. A trip to the Confederate Cemetery on campus is a good combination trip with the Shiloh tour.

Visit the Museum and pick up maps. The bookstore has great information and maps for driving tours. Want to know about a book. Ask Charles ! Also his knowledge about the Park is amazing.
