The biggest historical armoury in the world! Come face to face with the history of Styria at the Styrian Armoury. The gleaming armour and weapons of old stand rank and file here, preserved in near original state. The armoury’s task was to have ready the arms needed to defend the province from invaders, should the need arise. The five-storey building in Herrengasse was a weapons depot: today, you can truly immerse yourself in the extraordinary atmosphere of the armoury just as it was centuries ago.

There are 4 floors of weaponry. Not just little displays, but beautifully organized, entire floors of weapons. There are over 32,000 pieces to see. It doesn't take a long time to go thru, but is worth
