Bowleze cove is a small sand & shingle beach. You can walk the whole length of the beach from the esplanade past Greenhill gardens to the cove. There are cafes on the way, a restaurant & in the summer a beach bar too at the end in the cove.

Beautiful views . A great place to start a coastal path walk along to Osmington. Also a great beach here with funfair and a sand park for the kids Access to great bars and food with great vibes . Hire of paddleboard and kayaks can also be accessed here

Two miles east of Weymouth is the popular Bowleaze Cove, a pebbly beach backed with cliffs on the top of which is a grassy space used by picnickers, dog-walkers and kite-flyers. The River Jordan flows into the sea at this busy cove, which is home to an amusement arcade and a funfair and sports a slipway from which to launch jetskis. The water is ‘zoned’ to keep swimmers and watersports enthusiasts apart and the ruins of a Roman Temple on top of Jordan hill make it an interesting place to spend the day. There are cafes, shops and a pub close to the beach.

Bowleaze Cove is a small sand and shingle beach, near the village of Preston, just to the northeast of Weymouth, Dorset, England. The cove is on the Jurassic Coast and is known for its geology. Just to the west is Furzy Cliff. The beach is made up of mainly shingle and shell with some sandy areas.
