The old town of Inverness is the historic centre of the city with buildings dating back to the 16th Century. It has the Victorian Market which is full of quaint shops from jewellers to florists to gift shops as well as cafes. The old town has many other shops as well as superb restaurants and lively bars. It is looked over by Inverness Castle which has a viewing tower offering views over the River Ness, The Caledonian Canal and Ben Wyvis.

Don’t forget to pat the pair of wolves at the bottom of the steps and then gaze upwards to find the pair at the top of the building! Good luck on reaching those for a pat!
