Enjoy a tranquil walk through ancient woodland down to this quiet cove. Approximately a 15 min walk from Beach Retreat. This beach remains quiet even in the summer due to it being off the beaten track with no parking. Look out for the beautiful waterfall and children will love the rope swings. Enjoy!

A little off the beaten track, but well worth the walk. Park in the lay-by and follow the path down past the farm and onto the coast path. To find the waterfall you must cross the grass behind the beach into the trees. Don't cross the wooden bridge.

Aberfforest is a small, secluded cove between Dinas Head and Newport. Access is from the A487, where layby parking can be found nearby on both sides of the road - (Grid ref : SN028387). A public footpath follows a wide farm road (signposted 'Aberfforest') almost all the way to the beach. Alternative access is along the coastal path from Cwm-yr-Eglwys. The beach is shingle at the back, with some low-tide dark sand. Overlooking the bay are some holiday homes, which spoil its seclusion, but it's a good beach for swimming at high tide. About 200 yards behind the beach, is a waterfall set in a wooded valley which is definitely worth the short walk.
