5 MINUTES The Diamond Ledges are located in McLeans Game Refuge near the Holcomb Farm so there is no camping. There are no access issues here because I don't think people are aware that anyone climbs there. I don't see any problems as long as you respect the rock and respect the land. The motto for this area is "Take only pictures, leave only footprints." The wall is about 50 feet high and you can TR from several locations. Very secluded location, Typically Shady. It's granite with an excellent Arete. 20 West to Simsbury Road, then onto Broad Hill Road. Follow Broad Hill Road until it turns to dirt. Park in the first large parking lot on left. Then walk back across the road into the woods.

2 Minutes Welcome to Our Trails Spend an hour or an afternoon. Holcomb Farm encompasses more than 300 acres of farmland, rolling hills, meadows, woodland, and clear brooks. Situated between Granby Land Trust properties and the McLean Game Refuge, Holcomb Farm helps form a significant area of open space and protected land in Granby. The trails are open to the public daily from dawn to dusk, 365 days a year. Some trails have moderate elevation gains. Hiking, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, and horseback riding are encouraged. Bicycles and motorized vehicles are prohibited. All trails are marked by colored blazes. Horses are allowed on all trails and additional horse trails are marked by white dots. Horses are not allowed on trail bridges.
