There are 2 Island Natural Markets/Deli's, one in Hilo on Kilauea Avenue, and one in Pahoa just off the main street. Both are great places to get deli items to go for your day out! Lots of vegan friendly choices + meat dishes. Reasonably priced and you can pick up other food staples for your adventure. The one in Hilo has a fabulous deli with self serve foods, salad bar, hot food bar, or they make food to order. Food is great!
