Karenderya is a Filipino-inspired restaurant, based loosely on the affordable, roadside eateries, carinderias, of the Philippines. It has a casual, hip, kid-friendly, community-centered vibe. Diners can order and pick-up at the counter. The design combines rustic and industrial elements, and the décor references Filipino art and culture. They offer authentic, delicious & unpretentious dishes such as kare kare and pork adobo. The flavors are interesting, yet accessible. Many of the dishes will be available in either rice bowls or as sandwiches, allowing for the experience of a new type of cuisine, as an alternative to typical takeout options, such as fast food, pizza, burgers, etc.
