Local restaurant serving up country style dishes. Food was good and price was very reasonable. One of the few left that still has a buffet line, if that's what you're craving for is to feel normal back to pre-covid times.

Huge menu variety of sandwiches, burgers, chicken, steak and seafood. Daily cafeteria style meat & veggie plates for lunch and outstanding breakfast on weekends.

This place is a little drive from our cabin, but I am enamored by the landscape so I don't mind making the trip. This place has an amazing lunch that offers a big bang for the buck. Their dinner is also reasonably priced and offers good portion sizes, but the value of their lunch is hard to beat. Last time we went (for dinner), I really enjoyed the cheese sticks (I know, getting fancy here) and chicken fried stake. Our son would recommend the sweet potato to anyone who will listen, but to be fair he doesn't typically get sugary foods, so he couldn't get enough. They also have a good assortment of pies and cakes, which taste, well, like pies and cakes.
