La Breña y Marismas del Barbate Natural Park is a real ecological treasure of the area. It is a forest that was created artificially at the end of the 19th century after carrying out a reforestation process, in order to preserve the dry, sandy earth. However, the park is not just a forest; it also boasts a coastline of considerable natural and scenic value and majestic cliffs, up to 100 metres high, which provide shelter to a great representation of Mediterranean avifauna. The Natural Park of Acantilado and Pinar de Barbate is not too big to explore and it is possible to plan all types of excursions: on foot, by bike or on horse. Visitors cannot miss making a trip to the Torre de Meca.
