Explore the Abilene Zoo! Next, let’s take a tour of the Abilene Zoo. This place is just the right size for a day or afternoon outing. It’s one of my own kids’ favorite things to do in Abilene TX. What a fun chance to see their giant tongues come out and watch the kids look at them eye to eye and giggle with delight. The Abilene Zoo is larger than you’d expect and well-maintained. The zoo is a good stop if the weather is nice. If it's hot, there's a splash pad adjacent to the zoo, as well as a park.

A great zoo where you can spend an hour or a whole day. Great for families or single visitors alike. This is a personal favorite. We are so proud of how much our zoo has grown over the past few years!

The zoo is affordable and fun for all ages. Park setting hosting 600 animals, a safari train, giraffe feeding, classes, concessions & more.
