Great overlook of Sandpoint and awesome huckleberry picking. There is a little village once you get up to Schweitzer with Pizza, Pubs, Wine, small store. There are lots of activities in the summer and winter

Ski and snowboard in the winter! In the summer take the lift to the top for amazing views of Lake Pend Oreille and Sandpoint. Take your mountain bike up on the lift and ride down the trails. It's just half an hour away, (17 miles).

Schweitzer is the biggest ski resort in the area and is just outside of Sandpoint which has a great restaurant scene.
