Parking (2 cars) on South Highland Road across from the PRIVATE Garrison Fish & Game Club, with additional parking along the road further east. This unblazed trail is well maintained and relative- ly easy to follow. Start at the iron gate across from the game club and follow the trail into the woods. At the first intersection, take the right hand path, which will cross a stream. Take the right hand path again at the second intersection, at a grove of tall pines, and a right again at the third intersec- tion, about another 1/2 mile along the trail. The trail ends in a clearing with the remains of a chim- ney from an estate believed to have burned in the 1960s. To the west are fantastic views
