Flip Up is perhaps the best bakery in Kyoto. I love their bagels, pizzas, and sweets. But everything is great! Just down the street too. Open at 7am, closed Sundays, Mondays. Finding Flip Up is easy. It is on Oshikoji Street, one block north of Oike, less than two blocks west of Karasuma, on the north side of the street.
