Every Bristol kid has spent happy rainy days in Bristol Museum and Art Gallery! It's full of all sorts of interesting things, Egyptian mummies, Alfred the Gorilla who used to live at Bristol Zoo, precious stones, butterflies in mahogany cases, beautiful ladies carved in marble and the famous wooden by-plane that was probably there when the Museum was given to the City by the Wills family. A great day out that the whole family will always remember.

Small museum with taxidermy animals and a small soft play for little kids. Nice cafe and close to lots of good kid-friendly places to eat in Clifton.
