Rockport State Park has miles of beautiful trails through old growth forests. Washington State Discover Pass is required for parking, these cost $10/day or $30/year. A short hike on the south side of Highway 20 takes you to a bench overlooking the confluence of the Sauk and Skagit Rivers. To access it, cross the highway from the parking lot and walk west to the trailhead. Watch for mushrooms along the trail.
