It is usually totally peaceful and the trees are spectacular as is the tranquil river walk. No cafe so please take your picnic ! Not open in winter sadly ! £6 entrance fee ( honesty box most of the year )

A very peaceful garden which is not too formal. There is a castle in the grounds which is inhabited but there is lots to explore in a very quiet setting
