Monastery of Vrontisi is located between the villages of Zaros and Vorizia, it is one of the most important monastic centres of Crete and one of the oldest monasteries. The monastery is dedicated to Saint Anthony and has hosted some of the most important representatives of the Cretan School of Iconography.
