It's a modern educational centre, it's a good place to see on rainy days. Please notice it isn't directly in the national park.

Great to learn more about the local mountains and also for the kids to climb a little. There is also a small restaurant on site. And this is a good starting point to see the village of Berchtesgaden

Das Haus der Berge in Berchtesgaden ist das zentrale Informations- und Bildungszentrum des Nationalparks Berchtesgaden. Es wird ergänzt durch fünf dezentrale Nationalparkinfostellen an den großen Nationalparkeingängen, wie das Klausbachhaus und innerhalb des Nationalparks.
