This place has good drinks and their food is delicious! Right down in the cultural district, for a night out it's a great spot to start your night of bopping around the nightlife scene downtown on Penn Ave between 9th and 10th street.

50 21st StIf yinz don't go here, everyone you tell about your trip to Pittsburgh will ask you if you had a Primanti Bros sandwich and if you say no, they are going to wonder why they are even friends with you.
Believe me when I say you shouldn't need to eat for the rest of the day, but it's just one of those things you gotta try.
I think this is the original location, but don't quote me on that. There are several others as well if you want to try squeezing it into your existing plans elsewhere.

This place is located right up on Shiloh Avenue, next to Grandview Ave (where the lookout is). The staff is great, the atmosphere is the best on Mount Washington, low-lit and cozy yet fun because they have an entire corner filled with board games, great music, and their cocktails are incredible. I highly recommend the Old-Fashioned ;)

I highly recommend the Old-Fashioned ;)
This is a Mount Washington staple for bar food and watching games, in the summer their outdoor patio is great for enjoying some beers and apps. On the weekends they occasionally have a DJ or a one-man-band.
