My first time here was the day after I moved to Pittsburgh. I was approached on the Sunday morning train with a broken announcer by a man named Walter who wanted breakfast. This was the first place open. I had no idea where I was. Since then, I've stepped into this space countless times - company…
If you love craft beer, you'll love this place! I don't actually know that. I've never been to a brewery, but I assume the people that like them like them all? Plus, Southern Tier is the maker of PumKing which I happen to know is delicious!
The food is traditional American, the beer is fantastic and you can get to this restaurant via free public transit + a short walk. It's also a great location for a date night to walk along the water and enjoy downtown Pittsburgh
Great beer and good food. Very reasonably priced, outdoor seating for warm days. Open late, and a good hang to meet people. A good spot before or after a game. Great for a post-run beer, then you can walk back home and nurse sore muscles.
New location for a good brewery. They have a cool indoor and outdoor area.

“GREAT Bar and Restaurant located in Market Square - downtown. This spot has legit patio seating and for all you sports fans (if you're not a Steelers, Pens or Pirates fan then you don't count), this place has more TV's than you can even imagine. HUGE Tv's! YUGE!!”

“Randyland's a free outdoor art exhibit! It's amazing for taking pictures. A local artist named Randy started painting and creating outside one day, and over the years this crazy and COLORFUL masterpiece became a landmark!”

“Walk down Atwood on any afternoon and you’re bound to be intoxicated by the smell of fresh frying donuts. You can stick with a fan favorite like the French Toast or Samoa donut, or go crazy making your own combo. Whichever poison you choose, there’s no better way to ruin your diet in the ‘Burgh.”

“This place is a hidden gem! Located right along the river, tucked back in Washington's Landing next to the boating dock, this place is only good for about 6 months out of the year. The patio seating is really the best part of going (not to say their food isn't good, but it's not THAT good that you want to freeze your butt off or sit inside and totally miss the view anyhow). Besides, they may not even be open during the winter months - who knows! Google, probably. Sometimes they even surprise you and have a little jam band outside under the string globe lights, in which case you really can't think of anywhere else in the world you'd rather be. Highly recommend!”
