Eat at the River Cafe for brunch, lunch or dinner. Pricey, but great environment. The Cafe (a restaurant, really) is in the middle of the park, so you have to walk there.

The 88 olympics had their XC ski events here. In summertime, it's a huge mountain bike network (although you have to pay, and why pay when there are so many free trails around?)
