The Inland Waterway for boaters is a great adventure.
Mullett Lake is connected to a chain of lakes that starts at Pickerel Lake to Pickerel River to Crooked Lake, to Crooked River to Burt Lake to Indian River to Mullett Lake to Cheboygan River, connecting with the Black River, on and into Lake Huron. There is a locks at the end of the Cheboygan River operated by the State of Michigan which lowers your vessel approximately 12 feet down to the level of Lake Huron. There is a small fee.
