Enjoy your holiday in one of the oldest houses in Tvøroyri. This is the former home of Rasmus C. Effersøe who was a faroese agronomist, poet and politician. He was born in this exact house in 1857. The house is newly renovated but has some features from that time. For example the floor and some doors. The newly renovated house is about 100 meters away from both the supermarket and a local bakery. It's also close to the route that leads to the beautiful place Hvannhagi.
Our house is more than 100 years old, and the atmosphere takes you on a journey through the decades. The house was imported from Norway as building blocks. Characteristic columnar basalt formations can bee viewed through our kitchen window together with the iconic church of the town. We wish to welcome you to stay and feel at home in our house, and hope that you will enjoy it.
