Phoenicia International Festival of the Voice (August 27-29) Local and vocal, this Phoenicia International Festival of the Voice gem arises again via live drive-in operatic performances at Tech City in Kingston. The parking-lot presentations include Verdi’s “Rigoletti” by the New York City Opera, Mascagni’s “L’amico Fritz,” and Leoncavallo’s “Pagliacci” featuring the Westchester Circus Arts troupe.

You have to attend the opera. Skip the rest Bring opera glasses and lots of friends. Get there early to get good seats. This is UNBELIEVABLE even if you are not a fan of opera. A real experience. Buy Ticket! Support the Arts Saturday night THE ELIXIR OF LOVE 8 to 11pm

The crown jewel of our arts scene, the festival is held the first weekend of August annually. Operas are held in the park on a beautiful bandshell, and other events are held throughout the town. It is a fabulous event! Book ahead and grab a reservation so you will have the chance to listen under the stars, beneath the mountains looming overhead. Not to be missed.
