On the outskirts of Llandeilo is the National Trust owned Newton House and Deer Park. There is a lovely walk to the ruins of Dinefwr Castle (you can park on the drive towards the main property or free is you are not a National Trust member).

This 19th century manor house is in the same parkland as Dinefwr castle and was home to generations of The Earls of Dinefwr. It is surrounded by the most wonderful rolling hills with its fallow dear and country walks. The tea shop is worth a visit too if it starts to rain!
