This place is very old, but very consistent and has won awards through the years. It is the best Chinese food I've ever had, but I've never been to China. Apparently, most L.A. based celebrities agree with me, because they all eat at this place and love the owner, if you believe the pictures on the walls.

Great Chinese food. The dishes to get include Slippery Shrimp, Chicken with Black Bean (not on the menu... just ask) and shredded pork with garlic sauce. The hot and sour soup is great. Very nice staff with quick and friendly service. yangchow.com
