Beautiful cosy place close to the sea to walk around, relax, have a drink or eat your icecream. From there you can see a big part of the Cádiz bay (Bahía de Cádiz)

Este paseo, reservado de los temporales, se dispone sobre las murallas junto a la bahía y es, desde el siglo XVII, uno de los lugares más frecuentados de la ciudad.

“Beautiful botanical gardens to have a peaceful walk. Great for kids. Even a few cafes nearby to stop at or else the bar of the nearby Parador (if you want a G&T!).”

History Museum
“Interesting archeological site to discover more about the old Gadir (Cádiz was named as Gadir by the fenicians).”

Meeting Room
“Cadiz Museum has some rare archeological finds, like the Phoenician sarcophagus, totally intact. It has also Roman finds and paintings. Very good for a small town with lots of history! El Museo de Cádiz tiene algunas piezas únicas como los sarcófagos fenicios, totalmente intactos. También tiene restos romanos y pintura. No está nada mal para una ciudad pequeña con mucha historia!”

Restauracja śródziemnomorska
“Un favorito tanto para locales como turistas. Sentar en la barra para tapear (buenos tamaños) o en mesa para una comida larga y relajada. A favourite among locals and tourists alike. Sit at the bar if you want tapas (generous portions) or at a table if you'd prefer a longer, more relaxed meal.”

“If you've had enough fish in Cádiz, this is the place to come for some really good meat with hams and sausages hanging all over the place. Tapas bar at the front, restaurant at the back (if you're lucky you'll be served by a fearsome bull of a man that looks like he takes his food as seriously as he does regularly (excellent recommendations, mind you!). Try the tapa or bigger ración of carrillada Iberica picante (slightly spicy slow-cooked Iberian pig cheek stew) and a montadito de paleta y presa iberica (juicy pork steak topped with Iberican jamón in a bread roll), or if you want something more substantial try the excellent entrecote de presa Iberica (juicy shoulder steak) or the local beef (Carne Retinto). Good selection of well priced wine, too. ”
