Yabu is a tiny Japanese restaurant that has fantastic noodles and a selection of gourmet dishes. Within walking distance. Often very busy, but worth the wait.

Yabu is my family's go-to for handmade soba noodle dishes, but this place is great for tempura, chirashi sushi and Japanese homestyle dishes like kimpira gobo, handmade tofu, miso eggplant, renkon, etc...

Excellent sushi and soba noodles. Try their Nasu Miso--stir fried eggplant in miso sauce.
