Take the short drive to Glengarriff and choose one (or all) of the well maintained loop walks in the Nature Reserve just outside the pretty village.

This is a beautiful peaceful place to spend an hour along the river bank or a climb up to Ladies Viewpoint with views of Bantry Bay and the village of Glengarriff.

Lots of walks for all fitness levels, picnic areas and a winding river just right for paddling in.

Pub
“A typical Irish pub, The Snug is a favourite spot for Sunday lunch or “simply when it’s mashed potato weather”. There’s nothing trendy about it, it’s a truly typical, cosy Irish pub clad in dark wood – welcoming, cosy and perfect.”

Kawiarnia
“Health food shop and cafe - unusual meals and tasty food combos, vegetarian and vegan available, all cooked on the premises. Little play area for kids upstairs. Love this place... and it's run by our gorgeous friend Hannah Dare.”

Pub
“Take a step back in time to one of Ireland's oldest pubs. They have a wide range of drinks to suite everyone. You will often find traditional Irish musicians playing here. There is lots of character to this pub. It is a must go to destination when visiting Bantry.”
