We love to take our family to Wallace Lake, which is literally across the street in the Metro Parks system because our children love the beach and swimming in the summer time.

Very relaxing beach that has never been super busy whenever I take my family here. Enjoy swimming, playing in the sand, or bring your kayaks and paddle boards and explore! They also have a concession stand (with Honey Hut ice cream) and public restrooms and changing areas. Lastly- there are several picnic tables throughout the park with charcoal grills.
