YES! you made it here! absolute must! the statue is mandatory stop in the city, make sure to arrive early and get those ferry tickets! they do have security checks so do not bring over anything that could be confiscated. if you do not want to do all that there is staten island ferry that is free And passes right by the statue, u wont be able to come off the ferry and see the statue in that option but it will be a free passing by ride.
