Small island a short walk from Hakaniemi. There is also a restaurant on the island. Nice place to visit on a sunny day.

At Tervasaari island, which is a popular recreation area next to the city centre, you can find eg. restaurant Savu, a kid's playground, a dogpark with a designated swimming beach for dogs, a summer theatre and a rug washing pier. It's also a perfect spot for a summer picnic. The shore has a walkway to the park island of Tervasaari.
